Kerb Lowering....Vehicle crossovers...drive widening
Star Plant is an East Sussex County Council Approved contractor and part of the Buy With Confidence Trading Standards Scheme.
Having been in the construction industry for over 30 years we have experience in most aspects of driveway, road and car park construction.
The lowering of kerb stones and the reshaping of the footpath must follow strict council rules, as various services run along and across the footpaths supplying not only the houses but sometimes whole towns with anything from gas pipes to fibre optic cables.
A minimum public liability policy of ten million pound must be in place and the people carrying out the work must also be qualified and have the correct certification. When you apply to the county council you will be issued with the correct specifications for your kerb lowering and drive widening.
As with our resurfacing work we come out to site first of all to have a look at the job and see what we be needed to complete the work. We will then advise you on any options you may have and the various surfaces that you could possible have on your new drive extension. The footpath will have to be constructed to the specifications laid out by the council but there are always various different surfaces that will suit your existing drive or even lay over the old and new drive.
We will then send you a written quotation and wait to hear from you if it is to your satisfaction. It is always advisable to get three quotes for any work that you are considering and we would always advise you to do this.
If you would like us to come out and give you some advise or a free no obligation quotation on kerb lowering or an extension to your drive or the resurfacing of your drive, footpath or car park please give a ring on 01825 840390 or email us at info@starplant.co.uk
