reoChip

reochip

TAR + CHIP, REINFORCED

Attractive, affordable, and proven, stone chippings on bitumen has long been a highly popular surfacing choice.

Durable

reochip is harder-wearing and longer-lasting than typical compositions with its fibre-enhanced base layer. Where there are areas of heavy surface wear, repair and reinforcement is simple.

Rapid

Tar & chip is such a compelling upgrade for a tired concrete or asphalt surface as it can be simply laid over existing surfaces and offers a rapid transformation from dark and dreary to bright and light. It can also be deployed directly onto Type 1 aggregate for a cost effective, yet durable finish.

Economical

MOST SUITABLE FOR...

  • upgrading almost any existing driveway, whether worn or uneven

  • sites where quality aesthetic is important

  • those looking for an economical surfacing solution

LESS SUITABLE FOR...

  • projects where any loose chippings are unwanted

This offers a considerable transformation at better value than many alternatives such as block paving, resin and concrete.

Resin Bound Stone

RESIN BOUND STONE

Resin Bound Stone porous surfacing is a premium solution consisting of natural aggregates blended with resin. It is trowelled to a smooth finish for a hard-wearing and contemporary finish. The choice of many aggregate blends provides for an individual result.

Porous

A fully permeable surface, Resin Bound is compliant with SuDS (Sustainable Urban Drainage System), given the required sub-base.

Low Maintenance

With no loose material and a completely smooth finish, maintenance is reduced to occasional power-washing.

Durable

As Addagrip Approved Installers, we use quality, regulated materials with up to 25 years of product  warranty.

Slip Resistant

Resin Bound is highly suitable for use on Accessible routes thanks to the addition of a very fine amount of silica glass for optimum grip.

  • achieving a premium and contemporary look

  • areas with rain water drainage limitations

  • those looking for a quality surface with no loose chippings

MOST SUITABLE FOR...

  • low budget projects, unless a good sub-base already exists

reoSeal

reoseal

SLURRY SEAL, REINFORCED

reoseal is a cold-applied micro-asphalt designed for renewing and re-sealing existing surface courses such as asphalt, concrete, and surface dressing.

Optimised

Our reoseal is more durable than the typical asphalt seal. Utilising a composite strand-reinforcing material to increase the tensile strength of the surface, it can withstand surface wear for longer.

Cost-effective

An affordable alternative to a full asphalt surface as it can be laid directly over the existing surface, often without the need for any adjustments to drains or other ironwork.

MOST SUITABLE FOR...

  • rejuvenating worn, damaged or unsafe concrete and asphalt

LESS SUITABLE FOR...

  • new constructions where a solid surface is not yet present

Carbon-efficient

Cold-applied surfacing requires less energy and thus fewer carbon emissions.

Asphalt

ASPHALT

Asphalt - commonly known as 'Tarmac' or 'Tar Macadam' - is the most common surfacing material, used in the majority of applications, from playgrounds to public highways.

Resilient

Manufactured by combining heated bitumen, aggregate and polymers to the right application-specific standard, it is one of the most durable and dependable of surface products. Typically lasts for 20+ years.

Low Maintenance

Its fixed surface makes it very easy to keep clean.

Comfortable

Its superior smoothness is valuable to wheelchair users, cyclists and drivers.

MOST SUITABLE FOR...

  • areas of high traffic or wear

  • steep ramps

  • sites where aesthetic quality is less important

LESS SUITABLE FOR...

  • laying over concrete due to differential movement

  • low-cost projects

  • sites with limited access

Concrete

CONCRETE

Concrete is almost universally applicable, from industrial yards to residential paths.

Dependable

The most hard-wearing of all surfaces, concrete is both the default and ultimate solution for industrial and agricultural sites. Whether a logistics hub or a suburban garden, SP SURFACING has the experience to deliver a quality concrete surface

MOST SUITABLE FOR...

  • industrial or agricultural sites

  • areas of heavy traffic and very high wear

LESS SUITABLE FOR...

  • heritage sites and non-urban environments where its 'industrial' appearance is unwelcome
